Things I’m Loving Right Now
I always love learning what products, routines, and general things that make people happy. It’s inspiring! That being said, I wanted to take a moment to share a few things that I’ve been loving lately in hope that you might find some inspiration! I like to think of this as a little love list.
French Press Coffee
Over the Thanksgiving weekend, I stayed with some family who made French Press coffee every morning. There is something special about the slow, hands-on process of preparing coffee in the morning and enjoying a cup without distraction with the ones you love. It’s a morning ritual I’ll be indulging in for the next little while. (Also, coffee tastes way better this way!)
Fenty Pro Filt’r Foundation
I must admit that I gave into all the hype surrounding Rihanna’s new beauty line. When I first used this foundation, I despised it. It made my face look streaky, patchy, and dull. However, the more I’ve used it, the more I’ve grown to love it. I find that it gives my skin a natural-looking, nearly flawless finish (as long as I really blend in my serums and moisturizers beforehand!). Also, the coverage is very buildable, so I can change the coverage based on what type of skin day I’m having. Although I’m not sure I’ll repurchase this product, I’ve really enjoyed how it’s making my skin look lately.
The Goal Digger Podcast with Jenna Kutcher
I often listen to podcasts as I get ready in the morning. Jenna Kutcher’s the Goal Digger Podcast is one of my absolute favorites! It’s geared toward female creatives and entrepreneurs. Although I’m not an entrepreneur (yet *fingers crossed*), I find the topic to be sooo interesting.
Jenna interviews some amazing women about how their journeys to becoming their own bosses; she also shares her own tips and tricks. I love how honest and genuine she is! As a photographer, blogger, and educator, she basically lives my dream life. Her recent episode about Social Media Influencers was highly informative… check it out!
A Simplified Life // Emily Ley
I love Emily Ley’s message: to live a life of simplicity and intention in order to make time for the things that matter most. Lately, I’ve been feeling a little off… my apartment is in shambles, I’m not prioritizing my hobbies, I can’t figure out my wardrobe… so I picked up Emily’s new book. It sounded like the pick-me-up I needed to get my life in order.
First off, the book itself is gorgeous! Secondly, I love how interactive it is. Emily includes worksheets and lists to help you take actions as you read (which I’m so bad at). I think I’m going to read the whole book before going back over each chapter and taking action.
These are just a few things I’ve been loving lately. What’s on your current love list?
